This program is for those who want to participate in synchronized swimming competitions. The swimmers and coaches begin by focusing on required figures, physical fitness, and selecting music for their routines in preparation for competitions. These competitions may include The Wild Rose Qualifier, Wild Rose Classic, Alberta Winter Games, and/or another competition of the coach's choosing. Swimmers will focus on being part of a team routine and may also have an opportunity to perform a solo routine and/or to participate in a duet at the discretion of the coaches. They will also showcase these routines at the Christmas and Spring Water Shows hosted by our club.

TEAM CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS

Synchronized swimming is a team sport and the GP Synquatics Club has required team clothing. Dressing uniformly instills a sense of unity and pride amongst the swimmers at both the recreational and competitive levels. When swimmers participate in club activities inside and outside of the pool, they represent the Grande Prairie Synquatics Club in all they do. We want the public to be able to identify the girls in their activities to help promote and applaud them.
All club clothing will be available online through a local company, Chickadee Cresting (Please visit the Club Store link in the main menu).
A variety of clothing with our logo will be available for you to purchase right from the team store. A T-shirt will be required for all swimmers and is included in the cost of registration this year!
